Great Swiss Mountain Dog Club
The annual subscription of £10.00 Single, £12.00 Joint (both applicants living at the same address) and £15.00 Overseas for 2023 is now due. Bacs payment preferred or cheques payable to GSMD Club.
Please note that The Great Swiss Mountain Dog Club UK retain membership details on computer. We will process your data in line with our data protection policy which an be found under Club Information - Privacy Policy.
The renewal date is 1st January 2023. Members who have not renewed membership by 31st January will not be entitled to full privilege of Membership. Candidates standing for election, for committee and officers position, proposers and seconders MUST be fully paid up by 1st of Feb 2023.
Christmas message from Chairman
After 2 years we are now back to somewhere near normal and have been able to enjoy a few of our regular events.
At Discover Dogs in March, at Crufts, and in London in October, we were represented on all days and I would like to thank all the handlers and their wonderful dogs for giving their time to promote our beautiful breed.
In May we held our annual Open show and incorporated the AGM into this too. Throughout the year there have also been Swissie walks and meet up events in various parts of the country and I thank all those who have arranged these and also those who have attended.
Finally for this year we held our Swissmas Party in November, at Overseal, Derby, and were
delighted to have 13 dogs and their families attend and join in the party games and fun. I think a
good day was had by all!
All that remains is for me and the rest of the committee to wish you all a very happy Christmas and healthy New Year and hopefully we will see many of you at events we are planning for 2023, and don’t forget to watch your beloved fur babies over the festive period to ensure they don’t indulge in any forbidden festive fare.
